The song title means “with me you’re beautiful.” I love not only the dance but also the costume and the setting in this short video.
Essay – Emma Straub on Opening Her Bookstore, Books Are Magic
Author Emma Straub wrote this wonderful ode to a bookstore she loved, BookCourt in Brooklyn, and how it led to the store she owns today in the same neighborhood. I love reading about her nostalgia for the store she grew up in, and she makes it sound sexy, to boot! Here is the touching ending: “Before, I wished that BookCourt would last forever. Now I wish that someone, anyone, will love Books Are Magic as much as I loved BookCourt.”
Video – Make Your Own Luxury Wallpaper
Recently I have been loving the videos from this channel, How to Renovate a Chateau, run by Anna and Philipp. I was bowled over when I saw and heard that Anna made her own wallpaper for one room; who does that?! Only a former fashion and textile designer at Balmain.
