The little voice in my head said I don’t have much to show for my first seven months of writing this blog. Then a thought crossed my mind. I have made a good, little catalog of stuff that inspires me, maybe only me, but nonetheless I can turn to my posts in the future whenever I need inspiration. The reason this thought came across is because I remembered the Jeff Tweedy interview and the moment when he said, “it’s hard NOT to be inspired each day.” I have to remind myself to look up every day and find the good and beautiful things around me.
That interview was a little gem I would like to, and will, return to. Who knows which of my other posts I may turn to in one or two or ten years time? That justifies the existence of this blog and encourages me to persist in writing it.
