The weekly roundup is my offering of inspiring things I found online in the past week. May they bring you some pearl of wisdom, joy, or humor.
Article – It’s Never Too Late to Play the Cello
This inspiring little interview serves as a reminder that it’s never too late to start something new. I am learning that one can look forward to continuing to having new experiences in their 60s, 70s, and 80s.
Song – October Sky (Live) by Yebba
A beautiful guitar duet with a beautiful voice and a beautiful setting. I love how her range is showcased in this song.
Article – Making Discovery, Not Distance, Travel’s Point
I like the author’s nostalgia in this piece. He compares a one-hour trip during quarantine to his first ever trip as a child. He also evokes the joyful communion of travel in his writing, describing how “the long-awaited pleasure of a vacation is usually contagious and often shared through smiles and casual conversation.”
What experiences have shaped your summer of 2021?
Have a fabulous weekend,
