Podcast – Ava Duvernay on How I Built This
Ava Duvernay is one of the few creatives to have been interviewed on How I Built This, though arguably all entrepreneurs are creative themselves. I really liked these two moments of the episode. First, the true story that was the basis for her first short film. Second, her proudest moment to this day remains when she was accepted into her first short film festival and not any of her Oscar nominations.
Music Video – Feeling Good by Nina Simone
Such a wonderful song finally gets a music video with a great message. I love the gorgeous dancing juxtaposed with the tough backgrounds.
