Weekly Roundup / Jun 4, 2021

The weekly roundup is my offering of inspiring things I found online in the past week. May they bring you some pearl of wisdom, joy, or humor.

YouTube Channel – The Unknown Vlogs
I love these London street fashion videos. You see a wide variety, from high to low price tags, and can satisfy a people-watching itch that maybe hasn’t ben scratched much over the last 15 months.

Blog Post – Eric Carle, Collage Artist
Sadly, the children’s book author Eric Carle just passed away. Many have written tribute to him, but Austin Kleon’s post was the first where I read this lovely quote:

My pictures are collages. I didn’t invent the collage. Artists like Picasso and Matisse and Leo Lionni and Ezra Jack Keats made collages. Many children have done collages at home or in their classrooms. In fact, some children have said to me, “Oh, I can do that.” I consider that the highest compliment.
