The weekly roundup is my offering of inspiring things I found online in the past week. May they bring you some pearl of wisdom, joy, or humor.
Article – An Art Revolution, Made with Scissors and Glue
I had no idea the history of collage, that Picasso was one of the inventors. Looking at the still life by Juan Gris that is analyzed by NYT, I was amazed how it was withstood the test of time. Satisfies the itch of not being able to visit art museums right now. A place I have missed during the pandemic.
Video – Raggae Keys on Look for the Good
Jason Mraz’s Look for the Good might have been my favorite album of 2020. I know pretty much nothing about raggae. This video shares a really quick talk about types of keys in reggae music and now I want to learn more.
Video – Allen Stone & Teddy Swims – Sara Smile (Hall and Oats cover)
I’m a big Allen Stone fan. I’m a big Hall and Oates fan (it may have been a defining characteristic of my high school days… you can see why i didn’t have a lot of friends). This duet is fabulous.
Did anything online wow you this week?
Have a fabulous weekend,
